Launching of Meet Up Locally Website 

A new and exciting social networking website is being launched with Meet Up Locally.

 

The site brings together local people with local venues and a valuable Meet Up Locally Discount Membership Card, which gives discounts at local venues as well as national savings off high street brands.

 

The first website to launch is MEETUPLINCOLN.CO.UK which covers Lincoln and its surrounding towns. Everything in the site is targeted to each local town, so when you look at the venue guide – it will provide a list of places to go in your own area local to you. Members can choose different towns that they want to visit and see listings of venues under any town they want to view.

 

Each of the venues can have their own venue website within the website to detail their establishment – they can then promote their own news, events and features to which members can subscribe and receive updates of any new events.

 

Members can search for people in their specific town and make friends and keep in touch with each other. Friends can then arrange to meet up. Members can also add in their friends and family from other areas and keep in touch.

 

 

Every venue in an area has a listing and can subscribe FREE to create their own venue website within the system. Venues range from local pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes, leisure activities, live bands and accommodation.

 

Venues will then have the option of signing up to offer Meet Up Locally members a discount with their membership card and we will promote them heavily on our site as participating in the loyalty scheme.

 

Venue sites can add extra sections into their free site for subscribers to events and post up information to keep people directly informed on what is going on at that venue. When a venue posts a new event, everyone who has subscribed to the venue will receive an alert that there is a new event.

 

Any venue is welcome to go to meetuplincoln.co.uk and check out the directory and register their venue in the system. Venues that take up the venue discounts will be heavily promoted on our site and will attract our members to their venue.

 

Every member of Meet Up will receive their Membership Discount Card valid for 12 months from the date of issue. This card not only gives members discounts at local venues, they can use the card for a wide range of national savings at High Street brand names for which they receive a booklet with their membership.

 

National Discounts include savings on food, shopping, travel, insurance, accommodation, leisure and holidays. Local discounts include money off food, money off door entry and discounts offered directly by the venue owners.
